In continuation of its regular game snapshots of Deadrop, Midnight Society, a Dr. Disrespect-led game development studio has unmasked the latest development in its game build. At precisely 3 PM PT, the team went live on its social media handles: Kick, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. Midnight Society unveiled new characters like Cleaners and Vendors, its new 3-man squad feature, fresh game items, and a brand new Proving Ground during the reveal event.
Deadrop developers have introduced Cleaners, a character that attempts to clean fallen Claws, collect the body, and gather unlooted Death Bags. Players are expected to take notice of these characters as they can retaliate if a gunfight is triggered. Cleaners collect weapons, ammo, gear, and unclaimed loot. Vendors, a special type of Cleaner, run an underground marketplace where Claws can purchase large boxes of loadout. Vendors will give players weapons in exchange for a few grams of Dust, the main in-game commodity of Midnight Society. Players can know the grams of Dust possessed through the newly implemented Dust trackers.
Midnight Society has implemented a network of communication systems allowing Claws and Variants to team up in a group of three. During Snapshot VI, a total of ten teams competed for a spot; 3 teams from the community, 5 teams from the creatives, and 2 teams from the game developers. Midnight Society unveiled fresh game items such as the fragmentation grenade, adrenaline spray, and zipline thrusters.
The team has built a vast gaming arena called the Proving Ground 2. Players can make use of several transversal options within the new area. They can ascend to heights and hide in the corners of the massively endowed towers. There are several entry points like operational doors and windows littered around the gaming arena.
Midnight Society Teams
Players can sign up to join the creative team, where they can access a user-generated content creation tool. They can create new game models, get unique skins, earn exclusive rewards, receive Discord creator roles and access free-to-use tools.
A new set of community members have joined the Midnight Society as the Broadcasters’ team. One of the members of this team, Katie Bedford co-anchored the second phase of the Snapshot VI where they analyzed the new gameplay and its features.
