Mirai Labs, known for creations such as Pegaxy and Petopia, has now shifted to the Mirai Chain, an Avalanche Subnet. This new chain will introduce the GuildTech program, merging Social Fi and eSports. Mirai Chain, an active network, will host Pegaxy, a free-to-play horse racing game, alongside Petopia, integrating SocialFi in an esports-style setup. It will feature the native token $PGX, Mirai ID, the Mirai App, and Mirai Pay.
GuildTech introduces a fresh model allowing players to form competitive groups or guilds, enabling others to buy “Fragments” and letting guild supporters earn rewards by owning a piece of their preferred guild. This system aligns with SocialFi, providing personalized keys for social profiles. The “Fragments” are unlimited in supply, enabling gamers to trade their tokenized “seats” or spots within guilds.
Why Mirai Labs Avalanche Moved To Avalanche?
Corey Wilton, Mirai Labs’ co-founder and CEO, stated the decision to build on Avalanche was driven by the chain’s capacity to capture value at every level, offering gasless transactions at scale. Avalanche also provides a robust network diversifying beyond gaming and responsive leadership.
“With its Subnet technology, unmatched developer support, and exceptional scalability, Avalanche is increasingly known in the blockchain industry as the go-to network for Web3 gaming,” said Wilton.
Petopia Hits 31k Unique Players in 7 Days
Meanwhile, Mirai Labs successfully launched Petopia and the Mirai App on iOS and Google App Stores. Petopia, a rogue-lite PvE dungeon crawler, attracted over 35k unique players, gaining about 31k in the first week of launching. The game involves players fighting for their world using various charming animal heroes, each with unique abilities.
