Pixels has successfully migrated from the Polygon network to the rapidly growing gaming blockchain, Ronin, following its initial migration announcement in September. This marks a significant milestone, as players can now create a Pixels account using a Ronin wallet, earn $BERRY tokens, and acquire Play-to-Mint NFT pets from the Mavis Market, among other opportunities.
Ronin Facilitates Onboarding for New and Existing Pixels Players
To streamline the onboarding process, Ronin has published guides to assist new players in creating and connecting their Ronin wallets to a Pixels account. They are also providing support for existing players looking to migrate by linking their current Pixels account to a Ronin wallet. Players, regardless of their status, can effortlessly connect their Ronin wallets to their Pixels accounts through the “Add Secondary Crypto Wallet” option within the Wallets section, accessible on the dashboard.
Ronin X Pixels Migration Events
In celebration of the successful migration, the Pixels team has introduced 225 limited-edition Pixels Genesis Pet NFTs for adoption. Players have the opportunity to adopt up to 200 of these NFTs by participating in the Pixels Carnival. To hatch a pet NFT, players must possess Pixel land, a Growth Lab, and Potions. Alternatively, these sought-after pets can be obtained from the Mavis Market.
$BERRY, the in-game utility token used in Pixels, has made its debut on the Ronin network with an uncapped supply, enabling free-to-play gaming experiences. Players can earn $BERRY by completing in-game challenges or by utilizing previously generated resources. For instance, completing the farming tutorial with Barney will reward a player with 10 $BERRY.
Finally, the Pixels migration will officially commence with the Gacha Challenge. During this event, players are expected to complete quests and stand a chance to win Pixels Farm Land NFTs, Genesis Pets, a Mystic Axie, and more.
