Following the impressive stats of 100k monthly active wallets, 5k daily active users (DAU), and 1.5M monthly transactions, Pixels is preparing to join the Ronin network.
The play-and-own game is currently on the Polygon network and available for players to enjoy. Pixels has developed and introduced immersive experiences like mini-games, P2P resource trading, and even no-code tooling. Interstingly, the no-code tooling allows players to create their own in-game items.
Pixels Gameplay
Pixels accommodates new players providing them with an in-game assistant named Barney. Barney teaches players how to farm, use items in the backpack, and manage their avatar’s energy. At the end of Barney’s tutorial, players will get 10 $BERRY rewards and 6 pop berry seeds.
The game has a central location called Terra Villa where players can roam about in a free, randomized avatar or in their own integrated NFTs. These NFTs include assets from CrypToadz, Bored Apes, and Pudgy Penguins. Players can check out for a more comprehensive list of the readily integrated NFT collection or submit an application for such integration through Typeform. Players can tweak their initial username for a fee of 1000 $BERRY.
Players can acquire a small non-NFT Speck Land with earned $BERRY, rent NFT Farm Land, or purchase land from Opensea. Pixels’ Land has a total supply of 5,000 unique Farm Land NFTs each with 7 unique traits. Landowners get benefits including a $PIXEL earning multiplier, unlimited withdrawal limits, and instant teleportation to other farms.
Interested players can purchase VIP memberships which give them access to VIP Lounge, unlock unlimited P2P trading, and six extra backpack slots, among many others.
Pixels has joined Ronin as one of the early pioneers on the network following the steps of games like Wildforest, Battle Bears, The Machines Arena, Axie Champions, and Tribesters: Island of Solas.
