In a strategic move that marks a milestone in the mix of traditional gaming and blockchain technology, Ragnarok: Monster World, an established name in the gaming industry, is set to join the Ronin Network in the third quarter of 2024. This partnership is new step for the Ragnarok series, which has influenced a generation of gamers with its narrative and gameplay.
About Ragnarok: Monster World
Ragnarok: Monster World promises a blend of classic tower defense tactics with monster collecting. Using the lore of the Ragnarok universe, the game allows players to collect creatures known as Ragmons, battle other players in PvP mode, enter story-based PVE mode, and forge alliances within guilds. With previous title Ragnarok Online amassing 50 million players per day, Ragnarok’s venture into the Ronin Network is expected to bring attention to the crypto gaming space.
The core of Ragnarok: Monster World on Ronin will be the introduction of Ragmons, creatures within the game that players can collect and utilize across various modes of play. These Ragmons will carry unique in-game benefits and are planned to be available as NFTs, offering players ownership and trade possibilities that were previously unattainable in traditional gaming formats.
Looking Forward
The move to Ronin was set in motion by ZERO X AND, the developers behind Ragnarok: Monster World, in collaboration with Gravity, the license holders. The game is in preparation for a major release in Q3 2024.
