After prolonged distress of distinguishing users’ accounts via strings of numbers and letters, Ronin is preparing to introduce Ronin Name Services (RNS). RNS technology is not just a human-readable naming system for Ronin addresses; it has proven to be the cornerstone of users’ Ronin identity.
Currently, there are over 11 million addresses on the Ronin Network. Meanwhile, the platform aims to transform the random strings of letters and numbers attached to a user into a shorter form like “juicegaming.ron”. This development will enhance users’ ability to transact within the Ronin ecosystem.
RNS will integrate with the Ronin wallet, Sky Mavis account services, and App.Axie, Mavis Market, Origins, Homeland, and others. A player’s unique .ron name will serve as a unique callsign throughout our entire ecosystem. These unique names will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so users are encouraged to select their preferred names promptly before someone else does.
How To Reserve Preferred RNS Names?
Users can reserve their preferred RNS names before they become available during the public sale by completing this typeform before October 26, 2023. Afterward, users will receive an email to confirm their reservations, enabling them to mint their unique names when the public sale commences.
