Ahead of the final launch of its game, Storm Warfare announces a tournament competition in conjunction with its upcoming Pre-release. The competition will charge players to test the gameplay while they receive a small token for doing so.
Players have the chance to be one of the final testers of the game before it goes live. The event is expected to take place in late February. Specifically, the tournament will commence on February 9 at 1 AM and conclude on February 23 at 11:59 PM UTC.
Prize Rewards
At the end of the 14-day epic game challenge, players will win $10,000 worth of $JAN and 130 Storm Warfare “Operation Overlord” Bundle Packs. Notably, $JAN is the native token of the game studios.
The prizes will be shared among the top 100 players on the leaderboard. For instance, the first player will receive $2500 worth of $JAN and 6 Bundle packs. The second player will get $1500 worth of $JAN and 4 Bundle packs, while the third player will receive $1,000 worth of $JAN and 4 Bundle packs.
Tournament Details
Players who participated in the Open Beta tournament can continue with their previous accounts. Other interested gamers should register an account and download the game. All participants must aim for a high win rate and win as much as possible. The more a player wins, the greater the reward.
The tournament will be based on the PvP mode, and matchmaking is strictly through the regular casual interface as friendly matches won’t be considered. Players must play at least 20 games to earn any reward. Storm Warfare will employ a Glicko Rating System for the leaderboard; the system assesses a player’s strength in zero-sum two-player games. This leaderboard will automatically update every minute, and players who tie for a position will share the spoils equally.
