The co-op, roguelite, third-person shooter game, Superior is now available for everyone to play on the Gala Games Platform in a two week-long event. The event which which began on May 15th and will run through May 30th, is expected to usher in a wave of competition with a chance of striking rewards as both veteran players and newcomers engage in thrilling battles against evil superheroes.
Competitive Play and Rewards
During May 22nd and May 29th, a leaderboard competition will be held, offering players the chance to win additional supplies in Challenge runs. The distribution of rewards are based on the final leaderboard placement.
The top 50% of players will receive either an Uncommon Murmur or Nomad NFT. These characters, each with their unique skills and playstyles, add a fresh layer of strategy and depth to the game. Whether you’re a sharpshooter with Nomad or a trickster with Murmur, receiving one of these NFTs could significantly enhance your Superior gaming experience.
Meanwhile, the top 25% of players will earn a new NFT backpack. Qualified players can receive both rewards, adding a new Prime Character and a bag to their collection.

Special Challenges and Customization
Throughout their missions, players will occasionally obtain Golden Challenge Keys, granting them access to special leaderboard runs. These runs can be undertaken solo or in squads, with the top 25% of the leaderboard receiving points redeemable for $GALA from the rewards pool.
Superior is also set to offer players the opportunity to customize their characters with loot from their missions and mint them into their own NFTs. Using a Minting Gizmo, which will be available for purchase in the Superior Store, players can convert cosmetics into NFTs on GYRI for trade or transfer.
Each gameplay season will see a new set of cosmetics introduced, with items from the previous season no longer being mintable. As such, players will need to act quickly to secure the cosmetics they desire.
