Uprising has announced the acceptance of QRusader, a roguelite crossy mobile game, into Dream Catalyst, its web3 game accelerator program. The game built for accessibility, replayability, and player-driven worlds is the first mobile title accepted into Dream Catalyst, joining other games like Netherak Demons.
QRusader: Game Details
The game challenges players to control a lost knight traveling through endless dungeons seeking loot and prizes. QRusader features a unique approach: Each level is generated by scanning real-world QR codes. Every QR code creates a distinct dungeon layout, enemy types, visual themes, and difficulty settings. More complex QR codes produce more challenging adventures, ensuring no two runs are identical.
Inspired by Crossy Road, QRusader offers pick-up-and-play functionality with procedural generation. The game encourages players to search for different QR codes, combining gaming with real-world activities. This transforms gamers into QR code scavengers, creating opportunities for social interaction. A community for sharing QR codes and trading levels is anticipated.
QRusader Will Launch on Android and iOS Devices
QRusader has been optimized for various devices, ensuring worldwide accessibility. It will launch on Google Play and the Apple App Store, reaching a global audience.
The game runs on Somnia’s blockchain, an engine supporting over 1 million transactions per second with fast speeds and low fees.
Players can customize characters and enhance gameplay using cosmetic upgrades and power-ups. They earn in-game coins by completing levels and challenges. These coins unlock items and access to harder dungeons through the in-game store, where players can purchase character skins and cosmetic items.
