Since the launch of the alpha version of Axie Infinity: Homeland in December 2022, the game has undergone a series of reforms and developments. The team has unlocked another developmental milestone with the launch of the pre-beta phase. The phase will help developers testand improve the game in preparation for the beta session.
New Changes in Axie Infinity: Homeland
In the pre-beta phase, players will enjoy an amazing reward structure. They will be able to earn mAXS by completing tasks such as gathering, crafting, and achieving victory in battle. With this development, Axies can generate more AXS rewards for their owners. All generated mAXS rewards will go into the Lockbox, where the Homeland team will withdraw and verify the contents before making them available as AXS for players to claim. There is a maximum amount of rewards available daily depending on the plot type: Savannah (16 mAXS), Forest (52 mAXS), Arctic (148 mAXS), Mystic (328 mAXS), and Genesis (6,540 mAXS).
Players will be able to discover precious Moonfalls after completing special tasks like defeating a special enemy, gathering a level 5+ deposit, or crafting a mythical or legendary item. For this pre-beta, the team will be discarding the leaderboards and seasonal achievements. About 20% of the land staking rewards, from a previously specified source, have been transferred to Homeland, thereby increasing the total rewards to around 60K per month.
The team behind Homeland has deviated from its previous incentive approach and is currently focusing on scaling player engagement by experimenting with multiple new game mechanic loops. Developers hope to build more effectively and create partnerships with asset holders while trying to increase the player base and level of engagement.
