Legends of Elumia Ronin migration is now official. The Animoca brands-backed MMORPG has announced its transition from the Solana blockchain to Ronin Network. Players can now connect their Ronin Wallets to whitelist for early access at ronin.elumia.io.
Elumia enables true ownership of in-game assets, including characters, pets, and items. The game features multiplayer battles, dungeons, and an open-world fantasy setting, with Elumia Crowns ($ELU) as a governance token and Elumia Krystals ($EKS) as its in-game currency. The transition places Elumia on a network designed for web3 gaming applications.
Legends of Elumia Ronin Migration Amid Rising Adoption
Ronin has developed a reputation for driving user growth and engagement, often referred to as the “Ronin Effect.” The network currently records 8.07 million weekly transactions and 996,210 weekly active addresses, according to Dune Analytics. Similar to the Elumia to Ronin news, It has been the destination for several projects moving from other blockchains.
In September 2023, farming game Pixels migrated from Polygon to Ronin, recording 100,000 monthly active addresses and 5,000 daily active users at the time of its transition. Pixels is now one of the largest contributors to Ronin’s daily activity, with 227,652 daily active addresses recorded.
Rumble Kong League, a 3v3 mobile basketball game backed by NBA player Steph Curry, also left Avalanche for Ronin in recent days. The blockchain continues to add new titles as more developers integrate their games into the network.
Ronin is preparing to become permissionless, removing its current approval process for new projects joining the network. The change will allow developers to deploy applications directly on Ronin without requiring authorization.
The network also supports Tama Meme, a meme coin launchpad developed by Moku with support from Sky Mavis. Since its release, 13,671 tokens have been created using Tama Meme, with over 1.2 million RON spent on the platform and 69,542 token holders recorded.
Prior to the Legends of Elumia Ronin migration, they had launched on Solana, where it operated as a multiplayer MMORPG with dungeons, player-versus-player battles, and an open-world setting. The game includes Genesis Hero NFTs as in-game assets and supports a dual-token economy with $ELU and $EKS.
